Input on saboted .22 bullets in the .30 Herrett
How accurate are the sabots for shooting .22 bullets in a .30 caliber ? If you can get 2400 fps with a 110 gr. in a .30 Herrett ;what velocity can be reached with 40 -55 gr varmit bullets? How do 68-75 gr .22 saboted bullets shoot in the Herrett with the 1x14" twist? If the accuracy is there, this looks like the ultimate 10" varmit rig to me.In a Shooting Times Q&A letter I saw a refrence to using .264 saboted bullets in the .358 Win. Does anyone know what company makes these, want to try them in my .357 Herrett. If anybody has any input about this please let me know. THANKS

In my experience.......you can hit the broadside of a barn with them......but only from the inside!!!
Seriously, I've never been able to get the saboted rounds to group.......
