TC Scopes
I ordered a 15" 25-06 Pro Hunter barrel from my dealer which should be in Friday. I want to buy a 2-7x scope for this barrel. I was looking at the TC recoil proof scopes. Has anyone had any experience with these? For a little more money I could get a Burris, but I like to try different stuff now and again. I just don't want to buy junk.
Thanks,
Rich

You won't be buying junk if you purchase a TC scope (and for your sake, I hope that's true of the barrel; TC has a big problem with 25-06 chambers). I still have a couple of 2.5-7xs from the late 80s, and they are doing great. Cosmetically, they may be a mess, but their battered exteriors have no effect on their performance.

They are a good scope.
I had one on a 454 Casull just to see if it would handle the recoil. On 7X it may not be as eye friendly as a Burris or Leupold but still a nice scope

That figures! It sucks to be me. Well I hope they got it figured out before they started chambering Pro Hunters in it.

Anyway thanks for the input guys. My dealer has them for $229 and the lighted recticle models for $269(I think). I'll give 'em a hard look now that I know they'll hold up.
