Is anyone on the forum familiar with Wally Siebert Optics Repair & Modification?

I am interested in having a few old Weaver k10 and V8 steel tube Varmint scopes "boosted" a bit in magnification, as well as a few Leupolds, and have heard that he offers such services.

Anyone ever seen a scope modifed in this way, and looked through one?

I have an old Lyman All American he boosted from 20 to 30X sometime before I got it. They're still popular among benchresters (I belive Mr. Boop is using one).

I don't know Mr Siebert but I understand perhaps incorrectly that he's old enough to consider retiring.

If you can't convince him to take the job, mine's for sale (cheap, make offer) or you might consider Premier Reticles, which is closer to you.
