450/400.308 cal 110 gr TTSX
I just got some in and I'm wondering if anybody has tried them yet? I'll be shooting mine in a 30-30 AI.

Bobby TomekThe 130 TTSXs shot incredibly well for me out of a 24" 30-30 AI at a bit over 2700 fps.
But judge for yourself regarding expansion -- or the lack thereof.

450/400Well, they shoot well. Three shots at 110 yards. Maybe I'll try them on a smaller pig...

carpetman1Many years ago I shot some 110's in my 30-06. If they reduced recoil any, I couldn't tell it. What did surprise me was they printed same as the 150's I was using. I heard in some guns they do that and not in others. Overall I really found no point in using them--reduced recoil was the goal.

450/400Well, these are in a 30-30 Ackley Improved pistol with a 12 inch barrel, not a 30-06.

tommynIn a 30 Reece (38 special necked to 30 cal) going 2200 fps killed three deer this year in my 16.5 inch contender barrel. All deer dropped in place with complete bullet pass through. The 110 gr barnes will be my load for deer in this carbine for now on.

DesertRamOn Bobby's recommendation a few years ago I started out with 125 grain NBTs in my .30-30 AI. They've performed so admirably that I haven't gotten around to trying anything else. They're extremely accurate and have killed antelope, deer, and hogs with absolutely no fuss. Of the 12-15 critters I've shot with these bullets, only a mid-sized hog has stopped one. If you're looking for a reasonably priced good-performing hunting bullet for your AI, I suggest 125 NBTs.
