ddm1949bolt action swaps
I am new to this single shot ,long range pistol sport.I was wondering if there is another bolt action that will fit a xp100 center grip stock? I keep hearing about changing barrels and actions and was wondering if you are useing a Remington 700 action in a xp center grip stock? Is there a book on project XP100 building projects? I live in Santee California and posted earlier about finding a XP100 in a 223 or 308 and thanks to all who wrote with guns and actions for sale ...But you too must live in CA . in order for me to buy from you. Any help?
Thanks

PokerplayerI saw a Rem 40x set up as a swicth barrel, so I bought a single shot XP and had a switch barrel Made. Liked it so much bought a XPR in 35rem and had another built now I have both bolt faces. I bought a model seven stock and can hunt with it when using long barrels. I modified and wieghted a 40X stock for the single shot and have a fine bench gun. Now I put my money in good barrels rather than new guns. For $125 you can have interchageable bolt faces put on a reminton bolt, including parts and labor.

Paul HBig warning! converting a rifle action into a pistol requires some special paper work, and a $200 tax, as you will be creating a destructive device.
Short barreled rifles have the same evil classification as sawed off shotguns, machine guns and silencers.
