Well, kinda sorta - no.
I bought a B-Square mount and a Simmons 2.5x shotgun scope for $40 total from a fellow shooter (really nice guy to boot ) in Virginia. Both pieces were 95%. I did the research when he emailed me the offer and found that it has a duplex reticle and 6" eye relief. Hmmm.
He sent it to me to try out (sans payment ) and if I liked it, I was to send him a check. Thinking this may work for the Ruger, I tried it and was only able to use the taco hold due to the short eye relief. This is fine for me as I shoot the taco all the time for SB & FP, although a bit weird with a semi-auto. I actually used it in a Tres Banditos shoot - did well. But I don't think tacoing this for my boys would be the best way to start their shooting career. Nuts.
THEN, I had a thought - I need a scope for my 10" 7mm TCU, that I now can taco (without putting dents in my forehead) as a result of switching powder !! SO - I'll put this on the 7TC for IHMSA Standing BB next Spring.
Bottom line: I'm STILL looking for a cheap, used, decent quality pistol scope for the Ruger. Zoom or fixed, blue/matte.
