Racer1,sounds like you have a broken firing pin. I had to replace mine about a year ago. MRI had them at that time.

Racer1Thank you for the information. I called MRI today and they said that is what it probably is. This gun was supposedly "new in box" although several years old. However, the MRI rep said most people don't read the manual and dry fire them. He said one or two dry fires is all it takes to break the firing pin...just to let anyone else know.
