150 BT in 14" 30-30? ?
Would this bullet perform on whitetails, or should I just stick to the tried and true Nosler 125 BT or Hornady 130 SSP. Anything better?

Any chrono data out there to compare the velocity in 14" 30 Herrett with 14" 30-30 or am I the only one crazy enough to have both? [Roll Eyes]

Given reasonable ranges, the 150 grain BT will expand at velocities you can obtain in a 14" 30-30. But it really doesn't offer anything more than the 125 grain BT or 130 grain Hornady SSP. And, the Sierra 135 grain SSP will do the trick as well.

In 14" barrels, the 30-30 and Herrett are virtually identical, but the Herrett holds an edge when one compares 10" tubes due to its better efficiency.
