<Vic L>TC competitor grips
Hey folks a couple of quick questions. I just bought a new ss contender frame and 14" 7-30 Waters barrel. On my other frame I use the pachmayr decelerator grip as it is usually fitted with 10" barrels of 44 cal or 7-30 waters and I liked/needed the extra padding. I also use a Bullberry wood grip on a 50 cal muzzleloader barrel in the encore and it is not too bad for punishment. My questions are does the competitor grip help reduce the recoil as they say or do I need the decelerator grip on it as well. I really like the look of the wood but don't want to pick up any more flinch than I already have. Also can one find the competitor grips and forend with figure anywhere or is it just luck of the draw?
Thanks,
Vic L.

<Headstamp>Vic,
I have a new set with some horizontal "leopard stripe" looking figure on one side of the grip itself. The set has the forend for the 14" bbl.
Let me know if you are interested.

<Vic L>Thanks for the offer headstamp. Do they do a fair job of buffering the recoil? How much do you need for the set? You can pm me if you like.
thanks,
