Has anyone had an aftermarket chrome or alloy finish applied to a 17 cal TC bbl?

Would the plating affect the dia of the bore enough to make any difference?

Typically the bore is not plated in aftermarket plating jobs. I personally would not have ANY bore plated as the thickness can and will vary. Accuracy could be from better to horrible. Some military guns have plated bores but the bore is oversize before plating....
