Bobby TomekMike-
Thanks a bunch for posting it...
This is well above average for hogs in the area. Most mature hogs I have taken ranged from 180-220. Prior to this one, the largest I bagged was 365, weighed on our old barn scale (so you can plus or minus 5 lbs. either way). This one , though, was slightly longer and a good bit thicker through the shoulders. Because of a storm moving in that evening, I didn't get to weigh him. But he has to be in the 400 range.
ANy educated guesses on his weight are certainly welcome...
By the way, my knee was touching the hog's back, so my upper body was perhaps a foot behind the hog. Photo was taken with a Nikon FM2 and Nikkor 50 mm lens to minimize distortion. And, I am 5'11" and 185 lbs, if that helps.

Magnum MikeBobby, Glad i could help!
BTW, You wouldnt happen to be interested in a Nikon FM and lenses would ya? If so, send me an e-mail and i will get the details on the lenses.
I bought a Nikon Coolpix 775 last year and the SLR never makes it outta the house now....
