TIME FOR A 444?
This weekend I shot the 14" 44 Mag Hunter barrel I picked up for the first time.
Recoil was minimal....about the least I ever felt a 44 Mag give. My other 44 Mag is a ported 7 1/2" Redhawk and it jumps and kicks a fair amount.
Since the recoil on the 44 was not bad do I go for the 444? I know MSSMagnums answer to this but how about the others out there.
Mike Bellm has done several for me and I like his Chamber style.
Most of us know about the backlog and that his efforts need to be with his wife so who Do I use now?

Magnum MikeHi Ken, OTT did the rechamber to my barrel. I am obviously VERY happy with the work performed by Mike. He also built me a 12" 414sm that appears will shoot very well. Mike updated his store to include the barrels and chambering work now. Here is the link >

I didn't get a chance to shoot Magnums 444 but I did get to shoot Jules a 14" hunter with a break & it was great. I'm Not a big fan of recoil & it wasn't bad at all. Just an option to think about. Too bad you can't test fire these things before buying them. Kinda like a test drive in a new car.

At this point I think Mike at MBMCO may get the job.
Only thing is Mike has stated he does not like the Big Bores
I'm sure he'll do a great job on it.
Gotta get it goin. Since I have 300 rounds of 444 coming looks like it's a must do
