Dave James45 Win mag
I have decided to break out the 10" win mag and start work on loads for it,used the factory stuff a couple of years ago and it works great on hogs,but am wondering about hand loads any one have any favorite ones?

wheelgun101I did'nt think anyone shot a 45 win mag hardly ever see any post anywhere.I have only had mine 6 or 7 months but i really like it.I have a couple of loads that are real accurate in my tube.I'll try to get out to the loading room as soon as i can and post them.

225gr hp speer

heavy crimp
1" group @ 50 yards

265gr cast performance

250gr lead
wlpm primer
blue dot,15gr
3/4" group @ 50 yards

260gr hp speer

this round really likes bluedot powder,i have tried several loads and they all were accurate.I think the 45 win mag is a very good round but you don't read much about it.These loads may be max can't remember.I do know the 28 gr of w296 is pretty stiff on recoil.

T/CNutI have been looking at getting a 12" Bullberry in the .45Win Mag Dave let me know how those loads work out.
