pahandgunhunterRe: xp-100 conversion
I have a rear grip stock, but have a great deal on a center grip action. Just was wondering how much more to convert to rear grip from center to see if fe$able or not. Want to see if it made cent$ or not to do so.
btw I have 3 xp centergrips and i do appreciate them

groundhog devastationphgh, It can be done by selling the center grip to someone who appreciates the center grip and then going and buying one of those new ..... I think it can be done seriously by replacing the existing trigger group with a Model 7 trigger group.....but why? GHD

xphunterONce you take the center grip linkage off you can use a Rem model 700 trigger and any aftermarkets made for the 700(Which I think includes model 7).

Stan DebickIs this a newer model with a Model Seven action, or an older one with a Model 600 action? I don't know if you could use a model 700 trigger on the older action. I have never tried, so I can't say for sure.

PokerplayerYes it can and it is not to difficult, One thing that will make it easier, would be to locate a new action screw in the same position as a mdl7 the rear xp srew can be easily bedded into the stock my 17MKIV in the pics was done this way

hangunnrMid and rear grip aren't your only options. You can also go with a front grip. It requires a longer linkage than the mid grip but it does balance better for off-hand shooting.
This gun was designed and built for the long range portion of the "Masters" handgun competition. It was built by Frank Glenn out in Arizona. It's a 6BR that will throw 105gr Hornady Amax's into 5/8" at 200M.
