casDont think Sterling is making guns anymore. Lorcin or Raven or one of those companies has been (or was) selling clones of Sterlings awful semi auto ,22 .25 and 380.

bobgSterling Arms was bought by a small company in Gasport N.Y. After the loss of a very large law suit, they were forced to close the doors. No more Sterling Arms.

<Headstamp>Ithaca had bought the rights to the Sterling back in the mid to late 80's from what I've been able to find out. With Ithaca's financial problems and changes of ownership, it appears the gun has "died" for now.
I had e-mailed them awhile back and they stated "we are only interested in making shotguns right now".
Mike B had told me he saw one at a gun show a while back and said he wasn't too impressed with the QC on them as a whole after inspection of it.
They were not available in very many calibers either from what I can see. Last place I saw one with info was in my 1993 Gun Digest and it was listed as the Ithaca X-Caliber.
