xphunterSnipe Pod?
I have used shooting sticks, and a number of different Harris Bi-pods.
Has anyone used the snipe pod. It look very practical.
My burning question is how solid of a rest system is it?
As steady/solid as a Harris Bi-Pod or more flimsy?

Sean VHA #60013XP,
In my experiences, the snipe-pod is not nearly as stable as the Harris bipod.
In all my shooting, I have yet to use a bipod that surpasses the Harris.

xphunterSean (and anyone this would apply to),
Is the snipe pod sturdier than the Underwood shooting sticks or shooting sticks in general? About the same?
The Snipe Pod did not look as sturdy as the Harris but you never know until you use it.

Don ShearerXP & Sean,
The Snipe Pod is really a very good field rest. It does depend on how you use it though. If you use a short or medium length one and set it straight down under your piece, I don't think it would be at its best. However, if you get a long one, say 36" or so and extend the legs forward at about a 45 Degree angle, set it down, take a sitting or kneeling position, then push forward on your gun to get the height you need to shoot - it is very steady.
