Used to have a 7-08. 40 grains H-4895 with a 140 Nosler Ballistic Tip would shoot groups in the .2's & .3's @ 100 yards. I have several 3-12's with B.P.--Love em!
MV with this load was 2540 which is a mild load, but it was the most accurate, so I stayed with it.

TC2-

A friend of mine who does not 'surf' this forum should have some good loads. Check your e-mail for his address.

Tc2,

I did the development of loads for the 7 mm Bellm which is a 7-08 with the body of the case just .045" longer than the 7-08. The loads should be almost directly transferrable from the 7 mm Bellm to the 7-08 in the Contender. Actually the 7 mm Bellm is a 14" 7 mm TCU with a 9" twist, rechambered to Bellm's cartridge.

Look under www.bellmtcs.com then go to the Triad and then to the 7 mm Bellm to see the loads for several different bullets along with the redline load indicated.

Good shooting.
