A friend is looking for a 3000 or 3200 series Elite scope. About a week or so back, I recall reading of a closeout in which the 3-9x40s were around $140. Does anyone know where I may have seen this? (My senility must be peaking tonight because I can't remember where in the heck this may have been...)

Thanks, Jeff. I'll check it out. I now have 3 of the Elite scopes. Of course, I got the first from you -- and really took a liking to it. If I don't put a Nikon on it, it has to be one of the Elite scopes. And now, I have a few others convinced to do the same.
