35 Rem pressure
I know the 35 Rem is loaded to lower pressures because of some rifles it was built in but in a handgun such as a competitor or lone eagle is it possible to rev it up a bit?

I do not know the interior case dimensions (wall and web thickness), but I would myself be quite interested in the answer because the .35 Rem is one of the very few cartridges to which the Carcano can be rechambered easily.

I have a Competitor in 35 Remington (soon to be 350 mag) and have hot rodded the 35 in my pistol. I have gone as much as 5 grains over the "book" max load of AA 2230 using a 180 Hornady SSP bullet with very good accuracy and no problems. The case volume of the 35 is around 5%-10% less than the 358 winchester.....when both are loaded to the same pressure, difference in performance is not great.
