buckweetnickel brass ??? .223
hey guys,, rich jake got me back in gear,,
setting here as i type with me finger,,,
useing a LEE hand press,,
and 6mmTCU dies,,,getting ready fer the .257TCU...
this press works very well...
now ??? this brass has been shot thru my buddys ar-15 think it'll be fine reworking too the .257 ???

I've never tried doing anything with nickel brass. I remember seeing it some where that the nickel plating could cause a problem with fireformed cases just don't remember where I saw it or who said it. Hopefully it was someone from here & they can explain it further. If they don't, check around I swear that I remember there was something to watch out for.

jshI think the idea on the nickel was that it wouldn't grip the chamber real well upon firing. Varmint Al's had a pretty good article if I remember correctly?
