I hit the G-spot with my .300Mag.....
I tested some more with IMR4064 here's the run down.
16.5" .300Mag Encore
IMR4064
62.5grs.
150gr XLC BT
2830fps with a spred of only 6fps 10 shot avg.
Group's are running at .390 to .405 [Big Grin] I do think I have found my bear/elk/deer load this year!

I got the 150's over 2900fps [Eek!] but, accuracy with the XLC's was no better than 2" I had to drop the powder charge some and seat the bullet .20 from the lands.

Outstanding Nut!!!!
Id be interested to see how the same load would group and what the mv would be with the 150 triple shock. I intend to try some shortly out of my 24" 300WSM.
Did you have to run many of the blue ones down the tube before you go the low spread?? also what primer and cases are you using....
Thanks for the info and good loading and shooting that will be an outstanding bear elk and deer load...
