I wish people would stop using the word "permit" to describe a Constitutional and God-give right.

They give permits to teenage children so that they can learn how to drive under adult supervision. Said permit can be revoked at will.

Licenses are given to people who show a demonstrated ability to do what is needed in a particular area.

You do not have permit plates on your car or HD, nor do you have a permit to practice medicine or the law in your home state.

Permit is a way for a government entity to convince you you do not have the right to do something. They can only take your license away for abuse of the license's lawful function.

STOP! saying permit.
