It was very obviously a typical snow job from the left wing media from day one !

The biggest give away was the photo of the "innocent child" taken when he was 12 .The incident occured when he was years older and no longer so innocent !
That technique was used at least as long ago in the Bernie Goetz case . The 12 year old "children" of the photos were at the incident 3 were 19 and one was 26.
