Florida Carry Permit
Florida will issue a permit to out-of-staters; I received the package from their permit page, I need to be fingerprinted on the included form. Where can I have this done, I'm a resident of NYC, NY.

thanks.

Local LEO Station should be able to take your prints.

If they offer Electronic Prints that will make the process faster.

Also, see if they offer the Photo.

Hope that helps. My eldest son got his in 2008 (I got mine in 1988). In the packet was instructions on how to contact LEO and the Picture and Prints were $35.00.

Everything in NYS is difficult. I would expect the local precinct to deny your request. You may want to look elsewhere. Be creative, talk to your friends and see what options you may have.

Is there another agency/service that finger prints?

I don't expect smooth sailingSmiler

Check the places that do prints and photos for Passports.

Search the NRA. They have a page somewhere that generally covers reciprocity. A Fla. resident permit is good almost anywhere. Not sure about non-resident, but much less, I would imagine.
