I have recently bought a p95 and after taking it down I noticed that the slide rides on polymer rails, while other pistols Ive owned have had steel inserts. Will these poly rails hold up? How do they stack up against steel inserts..Will they wear much faster? thanks in adavance

Only one way to find out for sure. Send it over to my house with 10K rounds of ammo.

Seriously though, a good question. There have been incredible advances in plastic technology in recent years, so there may be some distinct advantages to the lack of steel inserts. Time will tell.
