Until a few weeks ago, I had no interest in having a handgun on my person except when I'm in the woods. The combination of a two block area of downtown Missoula being blocked off around the federal courthouse with a faux corpse, backpack, and threat spray painted, plus antisocial activities by foreigners and our executive branch caused me to adjust my attitude.

Those who know - what are the rules and regulations pertaining to open carry and concealed carry in Montana? And if cities such as Missoula has different rules, briefly describe them.
