Very nice sir. I am planning to convert a Glock 21 to .45 Super in the near future. The Underwood ammunition is cool. I doubt I'll be able to get any anytime soon! I have been looking around for load data, having a little trouble, but it will happen soon. Cool post.

frank4570The Zimmerman prosecutor went out of their way to try to find something about the gun to use to paint zimmerman as a vigilante. They took a lot of notice to the fact that the keltec has no external safety. Not nearly as obvious as taking a powerful .45 and turning it into an extra-super powerful .45 people killer.
Just sayin'.

IMHO the Zimmerman case is a prime example of if they want to they well make your life a living hell no matter what the evidence shows.
When one has no other case one well tend to use any thing.
Haven't heard the defense mention many guns have no safety double action revolvers and some semi autos.
Gasping at straws.
Now we well see what the jury says. Haven't heard any thing about the ammo used.
Having seen the bullet it was well expanded. Seemed to me a high quality hollow point.

Way back in prehistoric times I dabbled with 45 Super.
Here's the page that has reloading data for 45 Super.
http://www.realguns.com/loads/45Super.htmStarline makes the brass.
https://www.starlinebrass.com/...ases/45-Super-Brass/I don't shoot 45 Super anymore. I use the 45 Super brass to make loads that are at 45 +P levels, somewhere around 900-950 fps with a 225gr hard cast bullet.
Thanks Zeke, will check that site out. And JWP, that's kinda what I'm talking about, I don't know why in the hell anyone would bring up killing people, must have had nothing better to do, I guess. Nothing to do with nothing.

What I would dearly love, though, is to work up a hot load with a heavy bullet and blow it right through the side of a big hog.
