Sig P250
Guys,

I need your opinion on Sig P250 for self defence.

Thanks in advance.

Hamdeni, which size frame/grip assembly were you considering?

The P250 comes in full size, compact and sub-compact.

It's a SIG... but SIG quality has slipped somewhat since they moved all production to the USA. (This is not only my opinion. Other SIG owners say the same).

A gunsmith (who I respect) speaks highly of the P250.

The P250 is light weight (polymer), has a nice double action only trigger (6# pull with bobbed no-snag hammer), easy to switch calibers on same serial numbered frame, and offers various trigger and grip options to best fit your hand and shooting style.

I think they come standard with SIG-Lite tritium sights (which I love).

Controls are well placed and simple.

I would give the P-250 a tentative tu2

Springfield XDm offers all these "fit" options, a variety of styles/calibers, reasonable price, lifetime no BS warranty, American company (Springfield contracts w/ Croatia.), and it's been picked "Gun of the Year" now for several years running.

Hamdeni, if you were a little more constructive in the Political forum, fewer people would have you on ignore, and you would have more responses...

Thank you guys,

My friend chose the P250 compact.
It seems like a nice pistol and it's lighter the the glock 19.
