JimTxSetting up laser sights at longer range?
Reading some of the articles I see people recommending a longer than normal set up for your laser sight on your pistol.
If you were to set your pistol laser to a 30 or 50 yard sight in; then what does the bullet ballistic curve look like over a 100 yards?
What is the high and the low point over this range? Is there a table on line to fig this?
Thanks,
Jim

PeterJim, will you be even able to see the laser dot on the target at 100 yards without optics?
Peter.

p dog shooterI found that with a barrel mounted laser on my 22 pistol it is good out to 30 yards other wise the deviation is to great.
Could be farther with a laser closer to the bore.

JimTxI would be excited to shoot at 50. I have an old marksman I and it is the best shooting to 50 that I have.
Just curious what the ballistic curve looked like in comparison to the laser.
If you are say sighted at 50 what is the difference in the lazer vs bullet at the different ranges.
