Looking for a comfortable IWB holster for my Glock 26. Crossbreed's been recommended...has anyone tried one, and what's the thoughts on it or any other brand that you're happy with?

mmassey338Just an fyi - Crossbreed is just now processing orders from July according to their website. I ordered an owb, but don't know if I'll be patient or cancel.

larrysIf you have an issue with time, the KHolster is basically the same thing and works well. I would recommend buying the J-hook belt attachments as they are more secure.

DesertRamKholster is good. Foxx Holsters seem pretty nice too, at a good price and with fast shipping (received one in about two weeks from the time of order).

wapiti22Crossbreeds are good holsters. Very comfortable and well made. If you can stand the wait, they are worth it.

pennflyJust the wait tells you that they are good holsters. I have a couple of Milt Sparks Versa Max 2, might look at them.

Ske1eter Alien Gear Holsters are similar to many of the other hybrid holster manufacturers except that their kydex shells are interchangeable on the same leather backing (like the MTAC) and their holsters cost less than $30 (excluding shipping).

mmassey338I received my holster on Monday, and it is now Friday morning. I wore the holster the last three days, and my gun has fallen out twice. I will be returning the holster. I have never had this happen with other holsters, and have had my carry permit for almost 25 yrs.
The holster is comfortable, but relies on friction to retain the gun, and there is not enough friction to hold it if the holster is turned over.
I have the owb model.

I like some type of retainer on my holsters I don't trust friction locks.

Don't do cartwheels or stand on your head.

mmassey338Or bend over. Or use the restroom. Or take off a backpack. Or sit in an armchair, because the barrel protrudes from the bottom of the holster and the gun can be pushed out.
This holster is less secure than sticking the gun in the waist of your pants.
And it is loud. Very loud. Squeaks badly. Mink oil has helped a little.
