p dog shooterHUNTING magazine has reached rock bottom
When I was young I found the writers interesting.
The older I became and the more experience I gained the more I found them full of it.

AtkinsonP dog,
I agree with your analogy, its the normal course of most that reach out in that direction.
I can attest to Oconnor, Keith, Aagard, Shomaker, Vanderwalt, Boddington, and a few others.
Keith was outlandish and full of poop, but I loved his reads, Jack O,Connor was my friend and mentor. Phil Shoemaker is a good friend and the real deal., Aagard was a good SCI friend, we roamed the isles of SCI and drank a lot of coffee. We should give most there due..One thing I noticed is most of the ones I didnt care for turned into pretty good guy once we met face to face !!!

BakesI stopped buying hunting/shooting magazines years ago. The Aussie ones are the same, repeating the same old stories etc. We had a good one called Guns and Game but that closed shop a few years ago.
