Gun_Barrel_EcologistInteresting time ahead for Qld shooters
http://www.sportingshootermag....-queensland-shootersPerhaps they could convince the govt that PTA & renewal process times should be measured in weeks rather than months (hours would be better)

HomerOzG'Day Fella's,
I'm confused, if this was being said about some noisy minority, there would be all kinds of F-wits and Political Prostitutes, telling them that they can't discriminate against them!
We are not only licensed Law Abiding Firearm Owners (LAFO's) but also Super Citizens but despite this, apparently it is OK to bad mouth LAFO's, because it is OK to treat us like Second Class Citizens, in our Own Country!!!
Our part of the world, has gone MAD!!!
Double Doh!!

I agree. Really shooters need to wake up and stop being discriminated against and accepting oppression as a daily thing.
And Politicians and Police reminded they are servants of the public, not its masters.

I regard to the story in SM 30th Sept, I wish to say that I have never seen a more blatant reporting of lies and untruths in my entire life.
No unlicensed person may have possession of any firearm, other than at a registered and police approved firing range, so there will be no "Columbine" massacre in our schools.
As for comments by Ian Levers of the police union, I personally don't feel safe walking our streets, with police officers permitted to carry semi-auto pistols with a live round in the chamber, getting in and out of vehicles, where the slightest mistake could see a high powdered bullet injure an innocent bystander. Do we really train our police to be pseudo Dick Tracy's or Starsky & Hutch?
The truth is that, basic firearms training will teach young adults the responsibility for safety with firearms, at an approved range and under the strict supervision of adults who have many years of training. To my knowledge, there has never been any accident with firearms at a civilian range, in over 50 years from involvement with the type of shooting skills training proposed.
I got this published in the local newspaper and the shit hit the fan. How dare I suggest that police should carry their Glucks without a round in the chamber??????
