Talking to some of my Queensland hunting mates, it would appear that the problem is not that there is no interest in hunting ducks and quail in Queensland, it is just that many Queenslanders don't bother to apply for a licence - they just go and shoot them on their own properties anyway!

I've forwarded this thread onto a couple of those individuals and suggested that they get active before they lose hunting all together!
