A Good smith?
Can anybody recommend a GOOD and TRUSTWORTHY gunsmith in NSW? Preferably in the Sydney metro.

Sydney Metro might be a bit tough. Barry Smith at The Gunsmiths, Sefton might be worth a try. What sort of work do you need done?

I agree, Barry's done a fair bit of work for me, triggers, bluing, that sort of stuff, and I've been very happy.

Bob Taylor near Lithgow does my work, he's a bit hard to contact as he's flat out all the time.

Stu, thanks anyway but I did say trustworthy. I need some stock/bedding work done and a barrel docked and crowned.

Bakes, I have heared the guy in Lithgow is good. I have no idea how to contact him.

Interesting comment. I haven't had any problems with him and he's done two transfers for me for nothing as well.

If you want to elaborate on any problem you've had I'm all ears, but I understand if you'd rather not.

The only other 'smith I know of in the Sydney metro is Joe Gretch (sp?). He lives somewhere near the SSAA Silverdale range. If you're interested I'll see if I can track down some contact details from my mate who has used him a bit.

As I said he's hard to contact. I had his email address and web site, but my computer went Bang and I lost it. I'm waiting for him to email me, when he does I'll post his web address.
