No doubt had the All Whites lost the Australian headlines would hve been " Kiwis Humiliated" or similar ...

Aussie newspapers have always claimed triumphant sports acheivements as their own - think back to Phar Lap and the two versions of the headline waiting to be printed - "Great Win By Aussie Horse" vs "Kiwi Horse Fails Badly" or similar sentiments...

Anyone else notice the goal scorer for the Slovaks was off-side when he received the ball?
