I think it's just a rehash of past treatments where one
listens to the same noise in your ears from a headphone
set, supposedly to "drown" the ringing out for a while.

I know of the people who developed it here. It is quiet a bit more sophisticated than that and tests so far have produced good results. Im going to try it next year.

May I ask what type of flying could cause that?
I am curious because my hearing was shot before starting
flying, and after 30 years of the noisiest flying I can
imagine, the audograms were much the same.
