A sad discovery
In case you're like me and don't trawl the personal notices in the papers: Ken Pearce's wife, Wendy, died two or three days ago.

Though she'd been unwell, I think it may have been sudden and unexpected.

Pardon my ignorance mate. Who's Ken Pearce?

------------------------------
A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Ken is an iconic Victorian sambar hunter, and the author of "Walking Them Up". Ken is best known for his ability to find fresh sambar tracks, and stalk the animal until he catches up with it (AKA Walking Them Up). Back when his book was printed in the 1980s, it was considered the definitive guide to stalking sambar.

My wife tells me she saw the funeral notice in The Hun today, saying it will be at 1pm Wed 17th at the Chapel of Repose, Altona cemetery.
