Bakes
No I wouldn't (to poor CRYBABY) BUT to hunters in countries that only shoot a few animals a year I suppose it would have some appeal. Just like donkey cull hunts here.

I find it more than alarming that the group size is limited to only 16 people !
That is ofcourse including the 4 token photographers
What a barrel of laughs that would be.
Some outfitters have become just a little too focused on the almighty dollar.
Imagine being one in a party of 16, I find that totally preposterous & more importantly an accurate reflection of the style of hunt the outfitter is offering.
As an aside 3 is more than enough on any hunt or cull.
I`ve done a fair bit of it in my time & 16 people is a golden platter recipe for disaster.
Not failing to mention the price is absolutely outrageous on top of airfares etc.

Just my thoughts

I dont know what you mean about the price being outrageous - it just shows that the animals arent worth much at $175 each - remember that includes all accommodation, guides, meals etc. I think its a bargain for a small group. Up to eight days hunting!!

As for doing it with 13 other hunters - yes that is a joke! I couldnt think of anything worse... I have friends who have done these kinds of hunts (groups of 4-6) and they raved about it. I wouldnt do it becuse I guess its behind high-fence but that doesnt mean others wouldnt enjoy it.

Big Grin That's like saying YOU have become a bit too focused on earning a living!! Outfitters have families to feed too you know. Either you think a hunt is worthwhile and you do it or you dont. If it's too expensive then peple wont do it!!!

Mat, That`s a fair call.

Yes outfitters have families to feed just like the rest of us.

Maybe I read the advertisement wrongly.
I thought the price was per each hunter.

The tab at the top suggested it was cull hunting, & yes the rough breakdown of the figures equals about what you suggested.

I am in no way intending to get your dander up here as I suspect I have, hence your two replies to my post.

Bakes is right though, it may have some appeal to those in other countries who don`t get to hunt like us here in the lucky country.

Like Bakes I`m way too poor to do it also.

Maybe I`m just jealous of those who can !

Cheers Morton

No I would suggest that they are interested in 'bums on seats'. They obviously have access to a lot of animals...
