eagle27Set of RCBS 404 dies on our Trademe site for sale now.
I could bid for you and send if you really need to have RCBS dies (if I won the auction at a price that you wanted to pay). Don't know how much to send to Oz from here, could weigh my own set and find out for you.
The Forex rate is pretty close now for the AU and NZ dollar too.

thanks mate, they look a little rough, might keep looking for now but really appreciate the offer thanks

That's okay. Just looks like something was spilled in the box, I'm sure a quick whizz on a wire brush wheel would clean them up like new. Have done this to a few of my old Lyman dies that I hadn't used for years and got a touch of rust on the outside from sitting in their boxes. A bit of CRC-56 and a turn or two against the wire brush wheel and they are sparkling again.
I have them on my 'Watchlist' so let me know before the auction expires on Wednesday night if you are interested.
cheers mate you might be right and for the asking price might be worth bidding on and see it they will clean up. Send me a PM and we will make a plan cheers

Von GruffA single dollar bid over your limit can be all it takes to loose an auction like that. Where to set the limit is the deciding factor.
yeah I know , we tried but the other guys was going and going and looking at them they were in need of some TLC so you need to draw the line at some point before it gets crazy

NakihunterSorry for the bad luck guys. Well done eagle mate.
I have bought & sold guns and stuff on Trade Me for years.
Since December I have been trying to sell 3 rifles - My CZ 416 Rigby, my Simson 9.3X62 & my Sako 280 Ack Imp.
Some of them went unsold 2 or 3 times. Then last week I sold the 416 Rigby & the 9.3 in 2 days!
I changed the listing by putting a reserve and a low first bid. I split the Rigby rifle from all the bits so the price looked lower.
The buyer agreed to take all the extras for my price.
The 9.3 was bid on and an idiot tried to twist my arm for a big drop in price. But since he bid low, the others kept up and I got $10 more than my buy now price!
Go figure!

eagle27Yep just the way auctions go. Kenneth Anderson book on Trademe recently which I would have liked but at $100 buy now and then it went for just over $80, way too expensive especially when I've got every one of Corbett's books that he wrote plus a couple of Anderson's for $20-$30 each at auction.
Naki you would give Anderson's away for free wouldn't you
