NSW BGR State Titles and the Merkel Cup
The NSW Big Game Rifle state titles will be held at the Windemere Shooting Complex (near Mudgee) on the 6th of October 2007. There will be a South African 'Braai' style dinner, and presentation, after the shoot on the range.

Any member of the SSAA can compete and all are welcome. To allow for planning on the catering side, please advise, via the BGR NSW website, if you will be attending.

In additional, on the 7th of October at the same venue, we will be holding the inaugural Merkel Cup which is a makers sponsored competition which includes matches based upon some of the BGR events and others based upon the Zimbabwean professional hunters events (which is something like an IPSC rifle match but for rifles up to, and including, big game rifles).

While the main prizes are reserved for Merkel shooters, anyone can enter with any rifle (provided it meets the calibre and power requirements) and there will be prizes for non-Merkel shooters as well.

For further information, on either shoot, visit the NSW BGHR website (www.biggameriflensw.org.au)

Thanks BwanaBob

I am going to try to make it.

As a note to the NSW BGR - the 'Rules ' link doesnt seem to be working on the website.

Cheers
Matt
