GG375As the crow flies, Trunding Ck is about 500m from my place! Our house is right on the beach and we often see crocs hanging around the boat ramp and cruising up and down the beach line - some big, some small. Have even seen their tracks in the sand where they have come up onto the beach at night.
I've thought for a long time that a fatal croc attack around Weipa was only a matter of time. It's amazing how blase people get over time. Thankfully the 2 recent attacks haven't been fatal.

stebeLuckily the crocs would have trouble climbing the cliff up to your place GG, otherwise slurping grog in the afternoon would take on a whole new type of sport.

BakesI'll be buggered..are you the "STEBE" Bek told me about?
13 March 2011, 04:55
stebeAhh yes the lovely Bek. I stayed at her place two weeks ago down in T'ville. She is back to being super fit. That reminds me I am supposed to be exercising in preparations for the roar. Bring on the fallow and reds!!! I will say g'day to her on your behalf "bakes" when I speak to her in the next week or so!
By the way Goddy it would be cheaper to get a "Borden" built and imported than get a HS precision in Australia. They are both cheaper than getting a gunsmith to work a Remington action up. Damn being left handed.

BakesYeah I must shoot her an email. Haven't spoken to her for awhile.
