TOP_PREDATORHow many hours between flights do like to have??
I'm flying from Auckland to Australia not sure which airport yet and transfer to another flight onto Darwin. How many hours do you think i will need to get through customs with my rifle?? would 2 hours be enough

muzzaIf it was me I would be allowing at least three hours between flights - it can take two hours to get through immigration and customs without a rifle sometimes so you should allow extra just to be sure - then you have the check-in time for your next flight as well .Ultimately it will depend on the flight schedule tho. Good luck .

Two hours should be fine mate going from Int. to Domestic, especially if it is on the same airline. The worst that can happen then if you miss your flight for some reason is they put you on the next one. Doesnt always work if its different airlines though...

greghudi would alow plenty of time
the customs can be slow and it only takes one smart ass officer to give you a hard time also its not easy to get another flight coz there always full to and from darwin and theres usualy only one or two flights a day.
what are you chaceing whilst over here?
