I spoke with Greg at the Reno Convention about a buffalo hunt. Does anyone have any information about them?

Mark RG'day SD,
I haven't hunted with Greg, in fact I've only hunted buff once (so far) but his area seems to hold a good number of OK bulls. I do think that if you want a really good chance of a big (read - over 100 sci) bull some of the more pricy outfitters maybe worth a go. More cost usually means more remote and untouched, depends what you want really. I'm sure a hunt with Greg would be good.
I did hunt with Matt Graham (Hunt Aus.) and absolutly had a ball. Matt frequents here and was at Reno. My bull went rough scored 99 sci with 2 others taken that were bigger while I was there.
Cheers,
Mark.

SDHallThanks Mark. We're looking into going sometime in 2009. What is the best time of year to go?

Mark RThere are two seasons in the north. Wet & dry. From June to Sept. are the best for access and daytime temperatures, humidity is also much better at this time of year.
You will have a ball!!!
Cheers,
Mark.
