PC gone nutz. There have been plenty of instances of "hitting the wall" by other competitors in other events who really have put it all on the line. And why wasn't she gagged; in the media circus she claimed that she wasn't the only one to bludge (my word not hers).

As the guy who just won gold in cycling said "An Aussie isn't a quitter".
