I live in a very small town (less than 30 people) in western Nebraska (USA) and posted this sign by my house on a road pole:
The local kids love it and even now know what a kilometer is!
Do you folks have more of this type item for the local kids?
This one is about 8" square (20 CM)....

NitroXYou can as you obviously know buy these signs from tourist shops.
My favourite used to be the buffalo crossing one, and there is also a beware of crocodiles one as well. Great to post near your swimming pool or pond.

We have a small creek running thru town and the kids catch chubs and shiners there.....Posting the "beware of crocodiles" sign would add a lot of excitement to the place!

vapodogG'Day there Tracks....The mailman just bought me a package from downunder.......and the cute road signs are magnificient!
A very big thank you from me and the kids of this very little town.....all of whom can now find Australia on the globe.

vapodogIt's just a hoot to do this and thanks Tracks for your help......We all have a different type of fun and this is one of mine.
I also sponsor a clay pigeon shoot for the kids every year....they go through several cases of targets and several cases of 410 and 20 ga ammo...
It's all about the kids !
