Bren7X644x4 for someone who is in the city mostly
Guys, I saw and test-drove a Nissan Navarra 2009 - 2.7 diesel double cab - 137,000 km today.
I couldn't find much wrong with it, (apart from there was nowhere to hang my handbag).

Price is $23,000 - it has aftermarket mags

and was a soccer-mom car.
Opinions, please - do I or don't I?
Aussies, and Kiwis only, please - USAns are likely to ask why I want to spend 1.5 x the retail value of a new one .....

DenisBvalidity of soccer mum claim ?????
have not owned one , but have friends who have had them ( have driven them )
Navarra hate their clutches with a passion
have bad habits with stretching / wearing / breaking timing chains ( breaking if early rattling is ignored )
rated max towing load is optimistic & towing is hard on clutches unless driving technique is flawless.
look nice
ride nice
need to validate service history for both clutch replacement & timing chain.
FWIW

Bren7X64For soccer mom - I'd say Yummy mummy - both rear seats have wear right on the front edges - where the edges of the baby seats would be .....
Thanks for the other info - will check ...

ScriptusDoes it come with a box of spare clutches??
If the rug rats were still in baby seats, they could not have been playing soccer.

choppaBest mate bought one brand new in 08, injector pump went at 100k, six grand for a new one, just something to be weary of.
I reckon google is your research friend,if someone has a bad experience with something you will soon find on the net.
