I have heard that Helen Clark wants to ban the import of gunpowder into New Zealand ,bad news for Kiwi hunters ,whos next ?

welllllllll i hope it aint gunpowder !!!! what what would black powder shooters do??? [not much] the trouble is ,we now have terrorism hysteria[in my opinion] every night on the news its ''TERRORISM '' ,while its true the threat exists ,many threats exist !!!! but why let it ruin , destroy ,interfere with every aspect of our lives ?????? some times i feel as though they are actively ''baiting them''!!!!anyway i am sick of hearing about ''IT "" !!!!!!!!!

I think our beloved ( vomit!) leader is talking about stopping the sale of fireworks. Since we are basically British we celebrate the death of the only Brit that ever entered the Houses of Parliament with Honest Intentions - Mr Guy Fawkes.

Good ol Guy tried to blow up the British Parliament back in the 1600's IIRC , and got hung , drawn and quartered for his efforts.

And we get to let off lots of fireworks in his honour on November 5th because it is the quaint English thing to do .

But , idiots buy the fireworks in advance and proceed to burn things down whilst playng ...There have been seceral house and business fires lately , and a major scrub fire close to a town as well , all attributable to idiots with fireworks .

Hence the lovely Helens call to ban the sale of fireworks.

Yip the fun police saving us from ourselves again.

I used to make my own firecrackers out of det cord, nitroprill and diesel but not anymore ,a man could get arrested for terrorism these days.
