I will wish him well, but can't help notice a major point; he shot several arrows into the buffalo and was waiting for it to fall over.
What could possibly go wrong with this COA?
Answer? Major injuries "size of a Coke can", including near death.
I thought DG bow hunters took back up guys with rifles, with them.

So, was he shooting upside down too? Maybe that was the problem.

shanksponyYou guys are missing out on all the fun.
Im not likely to hunt buffalo with my bow, but I understand its a choice you make and the added risk is something you accept as part of it..... Until its charging I guess?

KarlOne of the few advantages in Australian is 99.9% of hunting is unguided, no bag limits, no seasons and take any weapon you want. Teens in my region take pigs using a couple of dogs and a knife after all , thats in thick rainforest. Arrows on buffalo not my personal choice, but then again probably still safer than smoking cigarettes or riding a motorcycle.
