gryphon1Shanks I will send you some videos I took this week of sambar including a handy sort of stag...close enough for your bow mate.
12 December 2016, 16:08
sambarman338A good boar, to my eye, taken with what looks like a pretty light bow!

shanksponyCheers Gryph!
Paul, bow is 57lb, but the builder has the knack of making a very fine and slender bow with plenty of power. Arrow actually went through both sheild and ribs on both sides as well. Cut the heart off the lungs and he was down in 30 meters.

gryphon1Hang about,I forgot to send them last night, coming in a minute or so.

sambarman338Am I right in thinking 57 pounds in a bow like that would probably take as much to hold at full stretch as 75 in a compound?
13 December 2016, 10:03
shanksponyKind of yeah, but its hard to compare. 75 pound you still have to pull over the cam, so If you can pull it over the cam, you can draw back a similar weight in a trad bow, but holding it with a trad bow is another thing.
