muzzaUnited Parcel Service ( UPS ) fly into New Zealand so I would assume they fly into Oz as well . That would make life easier for stuff from the USA - the sender just consigns the parcel to UPS at their door and the thing arrives on your door ( or at least at their Oz agents a few days later .
We shipped a motorcycle frame from California to NZ before Xmas with no major drams . It is more expensive than Post but not majorly so .

GadgeYep, UPS service Australia - main import base is in Sydney, but they have agents all over the place. You just need to check that what you want to ship is not on their 'Prohibited Articles' list.
And be aware that anything that needs a B709A import permit is going to cost you a fair bit in UPS processing fees.
Oh, by the way - DHL is not an option here either - they won't handle firearm or ammo components at all.
